Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
The SJSU School of Information has been fully accredited by the American Library Association since 1969, and is the oldest accredited LIS program in California. We are committed to following the ALA’s definition of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
The iSchool is global and 100% online, and proudly provides top-tier education to a diverse student body. We observe the unique cultures of our students and faculty and celebrate our diversity year round, recognizing that our differences strengthen our community’s bonds.
We continually gather resources and create programming related to issues of diversity as part of our mission to be more equitable, inclusive, and accessible. Here are some resources and programs that are available to SJSU iSchool students, faculty, and alumni:
- Heritage Month Virtual Symposiums
- YOUR VOICES EDI Webinars
- YOUR VOICES Community Learning Spaces
