Second Life offers many historical simulations, and the folks at Renaissance Island are especially committed to remaining true to history. Help them celebrate their 10 year milestone by exploring the island, scheduling a guided tour, or attending their special anniversary events.

Including jousting, archery, en Garde or horse racing.

February 3 @ 5-7 PM: Nyza Stillwater
Come to the Boar’s Head Inn for two hours of a wonderful, eclectic mix of Medieval/Renaissance music provided by DJ Nyza Stillwater. Dance along to tunes you may never have heard before.

February 5 @ 11 AM: Joust

Including jousting, archery, en Garde or horse racing.

February 12 @ 12 PM: Minstrel Sojourn
Traditional Irish, Scottish, English & American folk tunes. Enjoy the warm alto tones of Azure’s voice, backed up by Irish bouzouki & cello or fiddle. Laugh along with Azzy & Ollie as they joke back & forth between songs. With a song list of over 140 songs, they will take your requests & sing your favorites. So come along for some toe tapping fun.

Our wonderful Parish Minstrel, Wald Schridde, “The One-Man Renaissance Band”, sings and plays folk songs, traditional tunes and early music on guitar, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, recorders, mandolin, and penny whistle.  All are welcome to come and enjoy this talented live performer.
