All students who live in California are automatically given a complimentary (free!) two-year membership to the California Library Association. 

All students in INFO 200 are given a complimentary (free!) one-year membership in one of the following professional associations:

• American Library Association
• Special Libraries Association
• Association for Information Science and Technology
• Society of American Archivists
• National Association of Government Archivists & Records Administrators

All students in MARA 200 are given a complimentary (free!) one-year membership in one of the following professional associations:

• Association for Information Science and Technology
• Society of American Archivists
• National Association of Government Archivists & Records Administrators

All students in INFM 200 are given a complimentary (free!) one-year membership in one of the following professional associations:

• Association for Information Science and Technology
• HIMSS 
• American Nursing Informatics Association 
• ASIS International (Security)

Please use this form to select which association you wish to join. This form will open on  August 21, 2024 for submissions. The deadline for making a selection is September 17, 2024. This is a hard deadline and cannot be extended. If you miss the deadline, you will not be able to partake in the complimentary membership.

If you do not make a selection, you will not receive the complimentary membership.

You will be joined at your address on file in MySJSU.

We cannot change a selection once it is made.

Once you successfully make your selection, you will be taken to a page that confirms your selection has been made.
