SJSU SLIS Lecturer Lisa Daulby Earns IGP Certification

The School of Library and Information Science at San José State University (SJSU) congratulates lecturer Lisa Daulby on her most recent accomplishment of earning full certification as an Information Governance Professional (IGP).

The IGP Certification Exam is administered by ARMA International. IGP certification provides a way for individuals to demonstrate their competence in helping executive officers, who are responsible for the organization’s legal/compliance, information technology, and lines of business activities, to implement effective information governance programs.

The IGP certification adds to Daulby’s already impressive credentials. She is also a Certified Records Manager and is currently pursuing her doctorate in information technology. 

Daulby is an instructor in the exclusively online Master of Archives and Records Administration (MARA) degree program at the SJSU information school. She teaches seminars in archives and records management and courses in recordkeeping. Her PhD research interests focus on health care consumers’ perceptions and use of electronic personal health records. Her future research interests focus on the management of electronic records, specifically recordkeeping digital curation trust, and the long-term preservation of reliable and authentic records.
