Please join the SJSU iSchool for our Wellness Symposium!
A healthy mind and body create a conducive environment for learning and achievement. By integrating wellness into their daily routines, students not only optimize their academic performance but also cultivate habits that support long-term success in school and beyond.
Studies have shown that when students prioritize wellness, they enhance their ability to concentrate, retain information, and solve problems effectively. Regular physical activity improves circulation and cognitive function, while balanced nutrition provides the energy needed for sustained mental effort. Moreover, managing stress through relaxation techniques and adequate sleep promotes emotional balance and resilience, reducing distractions and enhancing overall productivity.
In this webinar, Loida Garcia-Febo SJSU Wellness and Health Ambassador, will share top recommendations for students to manage stress, burnout and fatigue, effectively complete tasks, leveraging AI for wellbeing, and understanding emotional intelligence helpful to excel in classes.
Taryn Reiner, SJSU Student Services Specialist with 20 years experience as a School Counselor will share organization tips and Emotional Regulation.
Loida and Taryn will answer questions from students to help them succeed in their wellness efforts.
