Cambridge University Libraries are about to embark on a five-year Digital Preservation Programme to establish the Cambridge University Libraries Digital Preservation Service!

Based at the main University Library, an exciting opportunity has come up for a Technical Lead on the Programme. This is a new role for the Library that is essential for delivering the digital preservation service and contributing to a wider Digital Transformation Programme, both of which will support the Library’s vast and diverse collections of digital materials as well as digital materials held by other libraries and University bodies.

Records Manager – Emory University – Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Reporting to the Assistant Director and University Archivist, the Records Manager will lead the ongoing development and operations of the university’s records management activities as part of Emory University Archives program within the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library. The Records Manager will develop records retention schedules, conduct outreach activities to administrative and academic units, and implement methods for the acquisition and preservation of vital University records. The Records Manager has the responsibility of developing a deep understanding of issues of records management at Emory University in order to create records management services that benefit the institution as a whole and support of the mission of the Emory University Archives.  READ MORE

Central Services Records Clerk – Rhoades McKee | Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States

Rhoades McKee is looking to hire a full-time Central Services Records Clerk. This exciting opportunity will have you working in a number of different capacities with employees across the firm. This role will be responsible for managing all of the Firm’s documents, including maintaining electronic records, handling physical files, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers/clients, interacting with and managing our information technology vendors, and assisting with other Central Services department duties as necessary.  READ MORE (requires ARMA login).

Processing Archivist – Yale University

Reporting to the Assistant Head of the Manuscript Unit for Processing, the Processing Archivist processes and catalogs archival and manuscript material chiefly in the field of modern European literature, history, and the humanities from the eighteenth through the twenty-first centuries. Prepares finding aids according to relevant standards and established local practice, including using ArchivesSpace. Performs original cataloging in the MARC format for the library’s online catalog. Dufresne Scholar Award Internship – C.M. Russell Museum

Each year the museum offers a 10-week, full-time internship with a stipend of $4,000. For summer 2021, the museum is offering the following Museum Management Internship project:

Archives and Curatorial

The 2021 Archives and Curatorial Intern will be responsible for the archival arrangement and description of the Richard J. Flood II Collection. The Richard J. Flood II Collection at the C.M. Russell Museum consists of the collected papers, correspondence, and photographs of Joe De Yong, which Flood purchased from De Yong and later sold to the Museum.  READ MORE (may require SAA login).
