The 40th annual Nuclear Information & Records Management Association (NIRMA) Conference is scheduled for August 7-10, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From August 7-10, 2016, the Nuclear Information & Records Management Association will hold its 40th annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

NIRMA is a unique association in that it supports a forum for records and information management in the specialized industry of nuclear energy, which must comply with stringent information management regulations. NIRMA has demonstrated its value to stakeholders by working with industries, agencies, and regulators to develop policies for records administration and by partnering with the American National Standards Institute to establish industry standards.

Archivists and records managers with professional interest in other specialized sectors (e.g. higher education) may seek to consider whether their disciplines could benefit from a focused attention on industry records and information management.
