iSchool Lecturer Mary Minow Receives Presidential Appointment to National Museum & Library Services Board

Photo of Mary MinowMary Minow, San José State University School of Information lecturer, has been appointed by President Obama to the National Museum & Library Services Board. The board utilizes its collective experience and knowledge to advise the director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The board positions require both a presidential appointment and a Senate confirmation, the latter of which Minow has not yet completed.

Minow, a former librarian of ten years and current lawyer & consultant, teaches INFO 281 (Digital Copyright) here at the SJSU School of Information.
