Robert McDonald Helps Secure $2.38 Million Grant for Kuali OLE Project

Robert McDonaldRobert McDonald, San José State University School of Information lecturer, recently helped Indiana University acquire a $2.38 million grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the Kuali OLE (Open Library Environment) project. The project, which will be lead by Indiana University, will be developing software for the management of both digital and print collections in academic and research libraries worldwide. McDonald, who is the Associate Dean for Library Technologies at Indiana University, is the executive director of the project.

Mr. McDonald was also recently appointed to the Program Planning Committee for the EDUCAUSE Enterprise Information and Technology Conference. The conference, Enterprise 2011, will return from its 2010 hiatus to be held in Chicago next year.
