Bob Lucore
Technology Support
Bob Lucore provides support for a variety of educational, web-based, technologies used by the iSchool’s students, faculty and staff. He responds to requests for assistance with Web Data Pro, a database management product used for teaching students how to construct and query databases. He provides technical assistance with Panopto, an application used for delivering web-based lectures in the iSchool. He helps to maintain and troubleshoot problems with WordPress websites used by all students in the MLIS program.
Biographical Sketch
Working in information technology is an “encore” career for Bob Lucore. Before entering the MLIS program at San José State, he had a long career as an economist. He taught on the faculties at Colorado State University and Centre College of Kentucky for eight years. Lucore worked in economic research for the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and the Teamsters. He was director of research and policy for the United American Nurses.
Lucore lives in the Washington, DC metro area.
