Statement of Research Interests and Experience
My research interests are in the areas of information retrieval, search, and learning experiences. I have over twenty years of experience in industry and have worked in academic, public, and law libraries. My doctoral research explored how search expertise is acquired, and what this means in today’s information environment. I am interested in the implications for current models of search experience, search design, instruction in advanced search, research in LIS education, and threshold concepts.
