Tina graduated from San José State University in 2005 and works as the Library Coordinator at Las Positas College, a community college in California. She is well aware of the opportunities for collaboration between community college instructors and librarians especially around incorporating information literacy into community college curriculum. Her doctoral research will focus on who influences faculty in their teaching and determining how the librarians can be more integral to the teaching social networks of faculty.
