Each year the Statewide California Electronic Consortium (SCELC) offers scholarships to library science students on the staff of SCELC Member Libraries.

• The $1500 Locke Morrisey Scholarship is awarded to the applicant deemed most outstanding by the SCELC Program and Professional Development Committee.
• Several other $1000 scholarships are also awarded every year.
