Facial Recognition
Genevieve Burns, 2019 Showcase
This infographic explores facial recognition, an emerging technology that is already affecting our society in known and surely unknown ways. The basics of facial recognition, its current and developing uses in major industries and government, and concerns about its use and development are addressed to give readers a basic understanding of this biometric technology. Facial recognition is paradoxically making the world more and less secure, especially if technology, privacy, and human rights concerns with its use are not addressed.
