Trends Impacting Fresno County Public Library: Our project goal was to create an analysis of how a library of our choice was engaging with current trends in public libraries. We were to analyze how the library was doing with regards to diversity, engagement, branding, and other metrics. We conducted interviews and gathered information from several staff of the Fresno County Public Library in creating our project.
Dana Huber works at the Fresno County Public Library in Adult Services and loves her job! It gives her the chance to create useful, beneficial programs like technology training for seniors (and more fun things like tabletop RPGs). She is owned by one cat.
Ruby Huber is pursuing her MLIS from her home in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Her passion for information access and her love of reading have led her here, and going forward she hopes to serve her community as a public librarian.
Katie Keane is the Collection Development & Technical Services Manager for a medium-sized public library in Lancaster, PA. Originally from Duluth, MN, she has also lived in Blacksburg, VA, Dover, NH, and Knoxville, TN. She and her husband have a seventeen-year-old son. In her free time, she reads, practices yoga, plays board games, and walks her rescue pitbull, Roscoe.
Alessandra Liem is a graduate student in the SJSU iSchool, working towards earning an MLIS. Alessandra is interested in pursuing work in a public or academic library setting.
