Christine M. Moeller is an independent scholar and Guest Faculty at the University of Washington Information School. Previously, they were an academic librarian, with a focus on information literacy instruction, inclusive pedagogies, and transparent teaching. Christine’s current research is grounded in critical disability studies to examine the workplace experiences of neurodivergent library workers, with the goal of making libraries and society more inclusive of neurodivergent people like themself. They received their MLIS from the University of Iowa, studied instructional design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, completed a graduate certificate in Disability Studies at the University of Washington, and earned a PhD from the University of Washington Information School. A dedicated educator and researcher, Christine also prioritizes their neurodivergent joy through pursuits such as music composing and production, knitting and sewing, playing video games, and spending quality time with their rescue kitties.
