What: The reading, The Tale of the Trader and the Jinni, begins on Shahrazad’s first night with King Shahryar.

How you can participate: Join us to harken back to the romantic atmosphere of the 1001 Nights AND to join in a conversation about your own perspectives on the culture and times portrayed in the reading.

If you come early, you may be selected for one of four brief reading parts and become part of the reading yourselves.

The readers hail from the Community Virtual Library (CVL) and the Virtual Center for Archives and Records Administration (VCARA). This event is made possible by New Media Arts, Inc., San Jose State University’s School of Information, and Fantasy Faire.
