MSIDT Open House
We invite you to RSVP to attend an online open house to learn more about the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology degree program (delivered 100% online!) This information session will provide an overview of our school’s online learning community, our curriculum, and the interactive online learning environment. A Milestone Issue of a Student-Led Journal Released
The Student Research Journal (SRJ), governed by graduate students at San José State University’s School of Information, published its 30th issue this week. The publication follows a 15th anniversary celebration held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, celebrating the journal’s longstanding commitment to empowering student scholarship in library and information science.
iSchool MLIS Students Honored with 2025 REFORMA Scholarships
Graduate students from the San José State University School of Information were recognized with 2025 REFORMA Scholarships for their dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in librarianship. Marina Luz Corrales, Emily Chen Taina, and Mirna Gutierrez-Saucedo were among this year’s recipients.

Two New Instructors to Teach New Courses
The fall 2023 semester at the San José State University School of Information officially starts August 17, and students will be greeted by a few new faces. Rae Lynn Haliday and Dr. Junia Papas are joining the faculty and bringing brand-new courses to the Master of Archives and Records Administration degree program.
