Electives focus on digital content management, digital curation tools and services, and new digital media characteristics. (Prerequisites are waived for MARA students.)

Students focusing on Digital Assets Management elective cluster should take 12 units from the following courses:

6 units:

And 6 units from:

  • Tools, Services, Methodologies for Digital Curation
  • Digitization and Digital Preservation
  • Encoded Archival Description (EAD)

Note: MARA students may take only 9 units of elective credit outside of MARA—so be sure that 3 units of credit are from MARA electives.
