The Blockchain and the Information Professions libguide was designed to provide visitors with a better foundational understanding of blockchain technology, its key features, and its possible impact in the library field and beyond. It supports the grant-funded research of Drs. Sandra Hirsh and Susan Alman in this area.

Kyle Moreno is a first-generation graduate student in the School of Information at San José State University and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and a Master’s in English Literature. They work in special collections at a public library and have professional experience in higher education and journalism.
