Rayette Sterling is the Outreach and Inclusion Librarian at Eastern Washington University. Ms. Sterling has been a professional librarian for over 18 years working in both Research Universities with very high research activity and Master’s level institutions. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from San José State University School of Information and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Sterling is active in the library community nationally and regionally serving on committees of both the American Library Association and the Washington Library Association.  She currently serves on ALA’s Committee on the Status of Women in Librarianship (COSWL) and as chair of ACRL’s Diversity Committee.
