Bridging Knowledge Webinar: Acquisition and Collection Development in Libraries with George Gottschalk

Students are invited to join the SJSU iSchool Bridging Knowledge scholars for their first webinar in a series of curriculum webinars sponsored by the Bridging Knowledge program.

Abstract: George Gottschalk is the Director of Acquisitions at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he has been for six years, and he will cover collection development and working with publishers. Prior to that, George worked at Rogers State University in Claremore, OK, as the Collection Development and Resource Sharing Librarian. George has also worked for the Oklahoma State University Medical Center Library in Tulsa, OK. He is a proud Past President of the American Indian Library Association and the Co-Chair of the Joint Council of Librarians of Color Conference 2022.
