Books Behind Bars: A Conversation with San Quentin Librarian

Student Group

Have you ever wondered how incarcerated individuals access library resources?

Join us for a unique conversation with librarian Gabriel Loiederman! Gabriel brings a wealth of experience from his role as a librarian at San Quentin State Prison since 2018.

Gabriel Loiederman Bio:

Before embarking on his library career at San Quentin, Gabriel wore many hats. He brought the hustle and bustle of New York City to his work as a bike courier and then channeled his organizational skills as a cataloger for the Internet Archive in Boston.

Don’t miss this chance to learn about a fascinating and often unseen aspect of librarianship!
