I am a professional librarian. In 1978, I graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Culture, in 1997 I defended my PhD thesis and received the degree in Historical Sciences. In 2006, I was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine.

Since 1986, I have been the director of the region’s largest library in the region being repeatedly named “The Best Library of the Year” for introducing innovations and modern approaches to the organization of the library.

My professional interests encompass the introduction of the cutting-edge information technologies in library activities, expanding the range of services for people with disabilities and the elderly, as well as establishing connections between the needs of the community and the library’s capabilities.

I have teaching experience as an associate professor in the specialty “Library Science and Information Activity”, also I developed my own course “Library and Information Activities”.

For many years, I have been leading the regional branch of the Ukrainian Library Association. Also, I am the head of the section of the Ukrainian Library Association “Library as means of helping people with disabilities and the elderly”.

Moreover, I often participate in national and international conferences, and roundtables, as well as I am the initiator and participant of international and local cultural projects.

Я – професійна бібліотекарка. У 1978 році закінчила Київський
державний інститут культури, у 1997 році захистила дисертацію, отримавши
ступінь кандидата історичних наук. У 2006 році отримала звання Заслужений
працівник культури України.

З 1986 року є директоркою найбільшої бібліотеки регіону, яка
неодноразово визначалася як «Найкраща бібліотека року» за впровадження
інновацій та сучасного підходу до організації роботи бібліотеки.

Серед кола моїх професійних інтересів – впровадження новітніх
інформаційних технологій у діяльність бібліотеки, розширення асортименту
послуг для осіб з інвалідністю та похилого віку, формування релевантності
між потребами громади та можливостями бібліотеки.

Маю досвід викладацької діяльності на посаді доцента зі спеціальності
«Бібліотекознавство та інформаційна діяльність». Розробила авторський курс
«Бібліотечно-інформаційна діяльність».

Багато років очолюю регіональне відділення Української бібліотечної
асоціації. Є головою секції Української бібліотечної асоціації «Бібліотека – на
допомогу особам з інвалідністю та похилого віку».

Учасниця загальноукраїнських і міжнародних конференцій, круглих
столів. Ініціаторка та учасниця міжнародних і локальних культурних
проєктів.
