The Dover Town Library

Dover Town Library

Westen James Westen is the Head of Adult Services at Dover Town Library in Dover, MA.

The Dover Town Library provides free and open access to materials and resources to educate and inspire all members of our community.

Since the establishment of a free public library in Dover, MA in 1894, the town has recognized the need for the preservation of knowledge and ideas and access to that information for all. That recognition continues today within the walls of the Dover Town Library, where you will find a warm and welcoming environment providing traditional services that support the reading and informational needs and interests of all of our patrons in a variety of formats, including print and multimedia. In addition, we strive to identify the emerging technologies that will maximize access to information for the entire community and provide a Library without walls that allow for access to many digital resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
