Orientation Fun
If you are a Seattle fan, you are probably pretty happy. If you were a Denver fan, you are probably not happy. To cheer you up, you should come to Orientation for Second Life!
Second Life is a virtual world to listen to colloquia or socialize with other SLIS students. This spring there will be five orientation sessions. There are more options to help with busy schedules! Student assistants Sarah Fihe and Faylene Keep are offering the sessions in the next week to help anyone that is interested.
Happy Groundhog Day and Superbowl Sunday!
All times indicated are in Second Life time (SLT), which is the same as Pacific Time (PST).
Monday 2/3 2:00pm SLT
Tuesday 2/4 8:00pm SLT
Wednesday 2/5 2:00pm SLT
Friday 2/7 12:15pm SLT
Sunday 2/9 2:00 pm SLT
Please RSVP for one of these sessions to Sarah Fihe at pbear77sf@yahoo.com. If you are interested in an orientation but cannot make one of the scheduled times we can work with you to schedule a mutually agreeable time for an orientation with Sarah or Faylene. These sessions can be set up by emailing Sarah Fihe. A few more orientations will be scheduled in the coming weeks as well. We look forward to seeing you in Second Life.
