Webcast

Core competencies and a drive for professionalism, technological change, corporate scandals, new forms of records, new ways of working, old concepts and new challenges have changed the face of educating and training today’s recordkeeping professional. This talk will explain San José’s response to the need for graduate level education in the records and information management professions through the development of MARA – the Master of Archives and Records Administration. The development process will be reviewed in detail – from concept to product – and an overview of the program will be discussed as SLIS prepares to admit the first MARA cohort in the Fall of 2008.
