Admissions Requirements – MLIS+ Fellowship
Thank you for your interest in the MLIS+ Mentored Library Fellowship for Success program. In order to be eligible to participate in this program, MLIS+ applicants must:
- Be matriculated in the SJSU iSchool MLIS program in either the Regular or Special Session;
- Be a resident of California;
- Have successfully completed INFO 200;
- Must be enrolled in 6 units each term;
- Have at least 12 months remaining before graduation.
Accepted students will work up to 15 hours per week during the fall and spring terms and up to 20-hours per week in the summer term for 12 months as paid fellows at the host site – either in person or virtually, depending on the fellowship opportunity and the student’s location.
