University Organization Agreement

Based on a directive from the California State University (CSU) Chancellor’s Office we need to have an internship agreement signed and on file with all of our internship sites that are offering unpaid internships.. The agreement will have a 5-year lifespan. If the internship is paid no signed agreement is necessary.   No agreement is necessary for California State University internships.

Please complete the following three steps

If you need to make changes to the agreement the agreement will be routed to our Contracts department and the internship listing will remain pending.

• Step One: Register yourself and your organization in the School of Information internship database (you only need to do this once). See instructions on the Internship Site Supervisor Help page.


• Step Two Complete the University Agreement form if an unpaid internship. You will sign it electronically.  


• Step Three  Log in  (with the credentials you set up when registering) to set up the  internship in the School of Information database. Once in :  In the left menu in “listings” you can view/edit previous listings or create new. Be sure to hit the submit button after you set up the internship.  The internship will automatically go into in a pending state until it is approved
