Student Services
The Student Services team members provide administrative and procedural advisement, resources, and outreach to applicants and enrolled students in the Masters, Teacher Librarian Credential, Certificate and Open Classes programs.
All BSISDA students can connect with Kaitlyn Stauber for advising, in person, in Clark Hall 420A or via Zoom every Monday from 2 – 4pm.

Check the live chat box on our website. When the icon is blue, a team member is ready to speak with you. When the live chat desk is not staffed, please fill out this form.
Make a Student Services Advising or Support Appointment
Click the appropriate link below to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend, make sure to cancel your appointment ahead of time. To cancel an appointment, go to your own Google Calendar and delete the event. This enables the staff to offer your appointment to someone in need of assistance.

Students can receive personalized advising on administrative topics, such as: understanding SJSU policies, academic standing, coaching on how to use the eAdvising tools to choose electives, referral to campus resources, and receiving a grad check prior to submitting the candidacy plan. |

Faculty pathway advisors and generalist advisors are available by email to consult with MLIS students on focused questions related to elective choices and career planning.
