Seven Year Limit
Procedures for courses that exceed the seven year time limit
Following determination that the seven-year time limit has elapsed for one or more courses the two options in the iSchool are:
- Course Repeat: enroll in and complete the course again.
- Transfer in a course (taken within seven years) from another accredited institution. A maximum of 9 units can be accepted for transfer (subject to approval by the Graduate Coordinator). No transfers are accpeted for core classes.
Note: The School of Information (iSchool) does not revalidate classes so revalidation of classes that exceed the seven year limit is not an option in the iSchool.
