George Atiyeh Prize Competition

The Middle East Librarians Association offers an annual award to current LIS students interested in pursuing careers in Middle East materials selection, reference, cataloging, or library administration. The award provides financial aid to facilitate attendance at the annual meetings of the Middle East Librarians Association (MELA) and the Middle East Studies Association of North America (MESA). The winner will have his or her registration fees paid for both MELA and MESA and will also receive a cash award of $250.
