Kelly Rausch
Kelly Rausch brings extensive experience
in immersive media production and information science to her role
as Lecturer and ISDA Program Coordinator. With over 20 years in
broadcast television and digital media, she specializes in
virtual reality environments for cultural heritage preservation
and educational initiatives. Her award-winning VR work includes
collaborations with the Northern Cheyenne Tribe preserving
endangered cultural knowledge and Ukrainian libraries documenting
children’s experiences during armed conflict. Her “Freedom to
Read” project earned national recognition, while creating access
to banned books nationwide. As a librarian, Rausch developed
comprehensive digital literacy curricula for elementary
education, demonstrating her commitment to information literacy
across educational levels. Her research examines the intersection
of emerging technologies, information accessibility, and cultural
heritage preservation.
