MSIDT Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the MS in Instructional Design and Technology program, students will be able to:

A. Identify the foundations and principles of learning theory and instructional systems design;

B. Evaluate current and future trends and issues in the field;

C. Analyze learner, organizational, and societal needs;

D. Design effective instructional and performance solutions;

E. Create quality instruction for a variety of learners and organizations in diverse performance environments;

F. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented instruction/intervention/solution;

G. Apply technology and non-technology solutions to teaching, learning, assessment, and organizational improvement;

H. Apply best practices in leading projects, teams, and organizations;
