The Teacher Librarian program is embedded in our school’s Master of Library and Information Science program. This allows students the option to complete additional courses beyond those required for the California Teacher Librarian Services Credential and earn an MLIS degree. 

This handbook explains the process to get the credential and the master’s degree. It also provides important information and resources for all students intending to work as K – 12 school librarians.
