Program Learning Outcomes — BS in Information Science and Data Analytics
Upon completion of the BS in Information Science and Data Analytics program, students will be able to:

Transfer Students
Graduates with a BS in Information Science and Data Analytics will have knowledge of software principles and practices, programming concepts and techniques, data structures, and system development methods and practices. In addition, they will have studied the human aspect of technology usage with consideration on privacy and ethics and impacts on society.

The major classes in the BS In Information Science and Data Analytics program are delivered exclusively online via the Canvas learning management system in an asynchronous format. Virtual labs may also be used in some courses.

In addition to meeting the general admission requirements of the CSU system, transfer students who meet the following requirements will be considered for admission in the degree completion BS in Information Science and Data Analytics program:

Transfer Students
Fees for the bachelor’s degree are $450 a unit for the required 60 units with a total cost of $27,000 through Summer 2024. For AY 2024 – 2025 starting in Fall 2024, Special Session BS in Information Science and Data Analytics tuition will be $475 per unit. Fees are subject to review and change.
